Advocacy & Discipline

Committed Business Owner

When you’re trying to navigate any complicated process, there’s no substitute for firsthand knowledge—and that’s something Brandon Schroer has in spades. When your home or business has been damaged, you need someone like Brandon on your side who can give you peace of mind and guide you through the process of getting back to normal. With more than 20 years of experience as an adjustor and trainer in the property insurance industry, he is the perfect advocate to help you manage the logistics and get full insurance benefits.

Brandon graduated from Southeast High School in Lincoln, Nebraska, and then Nebraska Wesleyan University. He was hired as an insurance adjustor by State Farm, where for more than 20 years he learned the subtle challenges of the industry and how to manage them. Year after year, he helped insurance customers navigate paperwork, communicate with contractors, and get fair benefits. He traveled the Midwest climbing roofs and assessing storm damage.

For nine years, Brandon served as a state, regional and national lead trainer of adjustors and as a management coach before deciding to use his expertise to become an independent advocate for the insured. Now, through Rubicon Roofing & Exteriors, he helps relieve the stress of area homeowners and business owners who need home repairs.

A Personal Commitment to Excellence

Brandon has always had a passion for the discipline and team dynamics of athletics—in his high school years, his hard work and dedication led him to become state champion in two high school track events, and to set his high school’s high jump record—which still stands at 6’9”! In college he was a 12-time All American and NAIA National Champion in the high jump. Brandon has been honored to serve the Lincoln community as a varsity high school track coach for nearly two decades. In addition, he had served as a YMCA coach and volunteered at the Lincoln Marathon and track clinics for Lincoln Public Schools and Nebraska Wesleyan University. He also has worked with high school and junior high groups at his community church for more than 22 years, leading church youth as they move into adulthood.

Brandon loves Nebraska and has lived in Lincoln his entire life. He’s a loving husband of 28 years, and he and his wife Kelly are very involved in the lives of their three children. Brandon believes in balancing a strong and committed work life with a dedicated and fulfilling family life.
